Submissions

Theatre by the River is open to script and concept submissions by theatre creators and agents.

We are keen to receive work that:

• Reflects our mission and values

• Amplifies the voices of women, BIPOC artists, 2SLGBTQIA artists and artists living with disabilities. 

To submit, please send your script or pitch to ad@theatrebytheriver.com. In the body of your email, let us know anything about yourself and the piece you’d like to share. 

Please note, we are a small company and can only do a few projects each year. We do not receive operational funding, and therefore have no paid staff. We evaluate submissions 2-3 times a year, so please anticipate a 4 to 6 month turn-around time. Due to the number of submissions we receive, we aren’t able to provide detailed editorial notes.
